Department of DoubtForm 52: Permanent idea, temporarily denied

Terrible tattoo ideas

A tattoo is a good idea that lasts. Some ideas should not. The Department of Doubt has reviewed 18 tattoo ideas, all invented here, and stamped every one I DON'T THINK SO. Tap any idea to stamp it, which is much cheaper than inking it.

Questions about terrible tattoo ideas

What makes a tattoo idea terrible?

Usually one of three things: it is about something that changes (a date you are not sure of, a joke from last week), it is somewhere you cannot see or hide, or it was decided in under five minutes. Tattoos last longer than most decisions.

How do I avoid a tattoo I will regret?

Live with the design for a while first: put it on your wall or phone background for a few months. Choose an experienced artist, check the spelling twice, and do not decide on holiday, at midnight or as a dare.

Are these real tattoos?

No. Every tattoo idea on this page is invented by the Department of Doubt. No real people or photos are involved.
